The steel inspection unit was established in 1993, its team includes certified professional inspectors. The unit specializes in conducting steel tests for concrete reinforcement: ribbed bars according to Israeli Standard 4466 Part 3 in factories abroad in a wide range of countries.
As an accredited arm of the Standards Institution of Israel, the unit performs inspections in Israel and abroad according to Israeli Standard 4466 Parts 3 and 5, as well as cable tests for concrete reinforcement according to Israeli Standard 1735 Part 4.
